About Me
I am a dreamer, leader, and a change maker. There’s a long story behind me standing where I am today. It’s all the blessings and love that has kept me motivated and keep going.
Early Life
I was involved in our family business since I was young where I was responsible for handling finance and accounting. During this I got a glance of how business and finance work in Nepal’s scenario.
After completing my higher secondary school I went to Nepal Engineering College to complete my undergraduate course as Electronics and Communication Engineer. I have been active since my college days where I was involved in the maintenance of computer networks and computers.
After graduating from college I started my career as a Networking instructor in IT college where I struggled a lot to collect the study materials due to the lack of digitization. I realized the importance of having a digital Nepal since then and am still working to achieve it. But with the bigger mission, I am trying to digitize the status of ICT all over the world.
I have been married to Sunita Dhakal since 2013 and have a lovely daughter Ashlesa together.
Then I worked at JWT as an IT executive and served UNDP as an IT Consultant and helped digitize the ministry of Finance. After which I went to the UK to complete my higher studies. I completed my master’s in computer and network security from Middlesex University.
My Story

After the compulsion of my Master’s Degree. I worked at Instant Access Technologies as an international career as an IT Services Manager, London, UK. I started working on MedicAnimal Ltd as a Senior System Administrator from Jan 2015 – Dec 2015 to build and administer 13 e-commerce platforms built on hybrid on AWS Cloud.
I then worked in a cloud company named Rackspace as a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer and Senior DevOps Automation Engineer. Eventually, I made my way to one of the largest banks of the United States, Capital One as a Senior Security Manager heading the Cyber division for the UK. I define myself as a visionary person who has a dream of contributing to the development of ICT in the world. With the same vision, I started Genese Solution. Today, I am the Founder and Global CTO of Genese Solution. I am also involved in many non-profit organizations and have contributed to the tech communities of many countries.

Current Involvements & Associations
As Global Startup Scout for Amazon Web Services, I was able to provide a startup fund of more than half a million US dollars in Startup funding (Platform) to over 200+ startup companies.
I have been trying to provide value in the educational field through Genese Cloud Academy by training 2000 students to minimize the skill gap between academia and industry.
Having worked in the industrial sector for more than 15 years, I am helping MBA-Technology and Innovation students to learn about Management of Information Security and be a successful leader within the tech and tech-enabled organization in Nepal and internationally.
I was able to bring international organizations like Girls In Tech-Nepal and Women In Big Data in order to uplift and empower women in technology from which we were able to impact the careers and lives of over 5000 females.
Few Words From Anjani Phuyal
“You won’t succeed unless you work hard or sometimes harder”
I have always been progressive regarding the development of the lives of people as compared to the developed countries. Nine years ago I was a teacher at IT College trying very hard to collect the materials to study which had been published a month or a year ago. Now, I see myself writing and launching software and new applications. This is the place from where I can entirely analyze the current real-time status of ICT all over the world.
I believe myself as a realistic, progressive, and analyst towards the IT business environment. I have a very strong attitude towards the work ethic. In my opinion, the team is key to the success and failure of any organization. It is a set of different skill set minded people who aim to achieve one goal, which is the success of the company.
I love to socialize with people from different backgrounds and share their knowledge and interest in related fields. I love to initiate work by collaborating with different people.
