“Being an entrepreneur means to have an insatiable thirst for learning, evolving and creating. There is simply no one end goal.”

On a personal level, I resonate with this quote. I’ve never met an entrepreneur who didn’t want to learn and grow their knowledge.

At the recent ‘AWS Workshop for Entrepreneurs‘ organized by Genese in Janakpur, I had the same impression. Entrepreneurship is a quite new yet flourishing concept in Nepal. I recall a time when we were reluctant to try anything different, preferring instead to stay in the safety of government or other job positions. Risk-taking was quite uncommon. I also remember being desperate to know about things to take my business to the next level and finding no help. And I guess that’s what helps with my zeal to reach more people and help them with the knowledge I have gained on the journey.

We recently organized a workshop on the usability of AWS for startup businesses at Janakpur. We had a good number of audiences and it was overwhelming to see their eagerness. We discussed how Amazon Web Services helps businesses get better TCO over on-premise solutions. Various AI/ML services like Amazon Rekognition, Sagemaker, Comprehend, Lex, Polly, etc. were also discussed and demonstrated during the session, which was taken with great interest from the audience.

With the ongoing situation, organizations are bound to go digital and AWS makes it easier and cost-effective. The evolving strategy it incorporates helps businesses accelerate their reach to the end customer, leading towards success.

It was such a pleasure to talk to the minds that are determined to change the future of the company and the nation as a whole. Helping myself by helping others.
